Luis Gerardo Bucci

Luis Bucci is the sports producer for CNN en Español and anchors Deportes CNN on weekends.

Luis Gerardo has had significant experience in worldwide sporting events like the World Cup in Korea and Japan 2002, Germany 2006, South Africa 2010 and Brazil 2014 Copa Oro, Copa America and others. Before joining CNN in Español, Luis has been Producer and Commentator of the South American Qualifiers Athens Olympics and Major League Baseball for Radio Caracas Television (RCTV) between 2004 and 2006. At the same time he hosted the radio program "Everything Football" Radio Caracas Radio (RCR) for the same date. In 2006 he was hired by the international channel Telesur as a presenter of Sports program stellar emission Presenter Telesur and the sports section of Telesur News between 2006 and 2008. After his experience in radio and television Venezuelan moved to Miami. There he worked as host of XM Sports Sports First. He was then hired by GolTV chain as rapporteur and GolTVNews presenter. Born in Caracas, Venezuela, Bucci obtained his bachelors in mass communication specializing in broadcast journalism in University of Santa Maria in Caracas.
