La Unión Europea recomendó a sus miembros que vuelan a restringir el ingreso de estadounidenses para viajes no esenciales por el elevado número de contagios de covid-19 en Estados Unidos. Otros países a los que se recomienda restringir la entrada son Israel y Líbano. Cada nación europea podrá restringir el acceso de forma individual a estos países si así lo considera.
