El Gobierno de Estados Unidos impuso sanciones a tres entidades y dos personas vinculadas con la cadena de noticias RT. El secretario de Estado, Antony Blinken, destacó que ese medio estatal participa en operaciones encubiertas de Moscú que van desde socavar elecciones hasta contribuir con recursos para las tropas rusas en Ucrania.
