Lo que un estudio sobre cáncer de mama en EE.UU. revela sobre la disparidad racial
Detrás de los distintos tipos de cáncer de piel, el cáncer de mama es el más común entre las mujeres de Estados Unidos. La Sociedad Estadounidense contra el Cáncer estima que más de 310.000 mujeres serán diagnosticadas con cáncer de mama este año en el país. Pero un nuevo estudio publicado este martes encuentra que el número de mujeres que mueren por esta enfermedad ha disminuido sustancialmente en los últimos 35 años. Sin embargo, estos avances no han alcanzado a todos los sectores por igual.
