Helena Kennedy: El voto popular no garantiza el mérito de los jueces
La abogada británica Helena Kennedy aseguró que la población no tiene las habilidades para elegir a un juez como lo marca la reforma judicial promulgada por el presidente Andrés Manuel López Obrador, donde se estipula la elección popular de jueces y magistrados del Poder Judicial. En cuanto a la creación de un Tribunal Disciplinario, la miembro del Partido Laborista británico de la Cámara de los Lores expresó su preocupación de que esto se preste a señalamientos políticos sólo por decisiones que no agraden a los gobernantes.
