"Habría que concluir que no fue un hecho planificado y que esta gente [funcionarios de Sedena y Guardia Nacional] estaba transitando por una zona peligrosa", dice el experto en delincuencia organizada Edgardo Buscaglia al analizar la jornada de violencia en Culiacán, Sinaloa, en el norte de México. Buscaglia dice que lo descrito por el secretario de Seguridad Ciudadana no es compatible con las características de una operación de captura de un capo, y hace un llamado a ser cuidadosos con la información que se comparte en redes sociales: "Hay que asegurarnos que se mejore la calidad en la comunicación social porque si cunde el pánico en la población mexicana, esto es malo para el país y el gobierno, y es muy bueno para la delincuencia organizada que busca deslegitimizar a los gobiernos".
