Alejandra Oraa is one of the hosts of CNN en Español’s morning show, Café CNN, based in Atlanta.
Oraa is the perfect blend of intelligence and charisma with her experience as an on-air personality and producer. At the age of 23 she became the youngest journalist in CNN en Español. She started her television career at the age of 18 working as a reporter for TV Azteca in Miami. She also worked in Fox Deportes, covering special events such as the Super Bowl XLI.
In 2009, Oraa was chosen to work as a radio personality for a new style of “Morning Show” for one of Miami’s top Spanish radio stations, Romance 106.7 fm. “Hola Miami,” and was created to show the perspectives of three decades of women. Later, the show was renamed “Paparazzi Radio Sensacional”. During her time working at the radio station Oraa was known as “the voice” of numerous international campaigns for HBO series, Ford, Mc Donalds, and Marshalls, among others. On October 2010, Oraa was chosen to be the host of a new sport show called Mundo Deportes, produced by AT&T transmitted through video on demand.
At the end of 2009 Oraa joined the journalistic team of Mega TV as the producer and talent of “Mega News”, an international news show that covers up-to-the-minute stories.
Born in Vargas, Venezuela, Oraa got a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from St. Thomas University in Miami, Florida. She speaks English and Spanish, and currently resides in Atlanta, Georgia.
